Sandridge sidings shwoing Emsco works. The small right-hand building in front is a weighridge; the small left-hand building is a plate-layers' hut; Geo Giles, ganger; Collie Matthews, outganger; Jockey Marc and 3 others gang, all attached to St Albans goods yard, 1939. All demolished in the 1960s. 8 horses n stables, 3 3-ton Cob Scammel lorries, 1 Dennis lorry, 1 Karrier lorry. Foreman Walter Lane.
