Description
Set of golf clubs belonging to Dr Edward S Stern who worked at Napsbury Hospital 1934-1940. He looked after Louis Wain while he was there training to be a psychiatrist. His wife, Alice Daisy Stern, was also a keen golfer. The donor also provided a scan of a photograph of Dr Edward Stern studying in the married quarters at Napsbury Hospital.
