Dovetail-construction steel mitre plane with maker’s mark MOON / LITTLE QN ST / LINCOLN’S INN FIELD on wedge keeper, which is decorated with a cupid’s bow edge; owner’s mark G PATRICK on front rosewood stuffing; 2 inch iron marked JAMES CAM / SHEFFIELD; under the front stuffing a pencil inscription records the maker and date, 1837; stock 260 mm
