Tyttenhanger House, described as "a typical building of c.1660" by Pevsner was given to Sir Thomas Pope following the Dissolution. It then passed to the Blount family and was rebuilt by Sir Henry Blount according to designs by Inigo Jones. It later passed to first the earls of Hardwick and then to the earls of Caledon. It is now used as offices.
