Cassiobury, an Elizabethan mansion remodelled in 1675 and 1800, was one of the greatest houses in Hertfordshire, but demolished in the twentieth century. Here it is recorded by Augustus Pugin, the architect of the Victorian Gothic Revival, and an accomplished draughtsman.
