Description

Stipple engraving portrait of "William Viscount Grimston, from an Original Picture in the Collection of the Right Honourable Lord Verulam." No artist or date though handwritten date in pencil reads 1650. However, William Grimston,1st Viscount Grimston, was born c.1683 and died 1756, which would make a date of 1650 before his lifetime.
