Typed letter from St Albans Town Clerk passing on an invitation from the Managing Director of Messrs. Tarmac Ltd to use his private aeroplane to inspect the work on the St Albans By-Pass. Elsie Toms writes that this was her 1st flight. Glued to page 143 of Elsie Toms diary, vol 3.
