Description
Rectangular iron plate with overlapping fragments of wood on the upper surface. Most of these are probably not in situ' as the grain of the wood is at an angle. 1 edge piece is at right angles and may be in situ'. Another fragment of iron plate, probably originally the same size is attached by corrosion to the lower side.
