Description
A view across Clarence Park (page 52b). Caption from "St Albans in Old Photographs" [ed. Mullins], p.52, reads: "A view accross the park from the zig-zag path by the railway bridge towards the back of the pavillion, with the bandstand in the middle distance, 1894. On the far side of the park, the lodge, by the main gates, looks out on Clarence Park Road which awaits the building of its elegant Edwardian houses."
