Description
Rectangular slab or tile of fired clay with rounded corners and rounded angles on underside. very heavily tempered fabric with coarsely chopped organic matter and some grog or pelletised clay inclusions. upper surface finished with longitudinal finger- smoothing, sides and undersides unfinished. Fired at Low temperature. Possibly shaped in a mould.
