Description
3 sherds from the neck and shoulder of a sharply profiled necked vessel. Fabric: sparse fine white flint and grog. Sandy textured matrix with dark brown core, orange margins and dark brownish black surfaces. Inner surface is worn and appears unfinished, outer surface has a highly burnished glossy finish with horizontal facets. Decoration: at least three narrow, deeply incised horizontal grooves.
