Description
handle of jug, probably of type with trefoil mouth, c. 16 cm. diameter at the lip, with female head resting on the rim between two projections. Over the head is a leaf shaped moulding with incised line and circle decoration; a similar leaf, rather damaged, forms the terminal which was attached to te body of the vessel. There are traces of lightly incised curvilinear design on the back of the handle
