Description
Rake prong.Square sectioned tapering tooth with fractured tang.Such prongs were set in a wooden beem or clog:- similar examples from many sites include Gt Chesterford, Borough Hill, Daventry,London, Stanwick- Northants'. A well preserved rake from Newstead shows method of construction. (another poss' rake see No 370, fig 131)
