Description
Biconical bowl, Anglo-saxon, incised surface decoration of diagonal lines & stamped horseshoe-shaped and triangular stamps. Rim sawn off and bowl bisected vertically and holes bored, ?for display. From Whipsnade, Beds. Also 2 other (conjoining) sherds, same fabric and stamps so presumably same bowl.
