flake
Details
Description
The flake surface has been smoothed by rolling in a stream. There is secondary working all around the edge & indications it has been used for battering at the distill end. Slight indications of a prepared striking platform; it's shape lends support to the view that it was prepared by the Levallois techinique. Poor example, probably late Pleistocene.
